Whilst she debuted her career in the fashion industry as a model; it did not take this goddess long to realise that being a stylish was the career path she was destined to take. Fate took over for Italian fashion stylist icon, Giovanna Battaglia, when she met Donatella Versace, who offered her a one in a lifetime opportunity to work with her at L’Uomo Vogue. Here she is now, reining as the senior fashion editor of Vogue Japan, and expressing her wild, outgoing personality through her exuberant outfits that inspires a whole nation of fashion.
In terms of their creativity and colourful style, Anna Dello Russo and Giovanna Battaglia are very much the same. This post will be filled with analysis and appreciation for Giovanna’s most spontaneous street style wear!
Casual But Chic
Catching the press’ attention at Milan Fashion Week fall 2017; Giovanna opted for wide-legged trousers that created a chic look to her attire with the large bow. Although different style of jeans are beginning to be accepted; it is taking longer for people to see the beauty behind these denim trousers. They elongate your legs and give you an hour-glass figure from the tightness at the waist.
Keeping her model like figure on show, she accompanied her trousers with a short brown fur jacket. The right colour to fit the season, as it is associated with Fall and Winter.
All White Attire
As godly as she already looks, fashion guru went all chic in her ‘bridal white’ attire during Haute Couture Fashion Week. ‘A girl should be two things, classy and fabulous.’- COCO Chanel. This look is exactly what Mrs.Engelbert epitomised.
She elegantly slipped into a Giambattista Valli dress and Gianvito Rossi shoes before the Dior Couture show. Her attire was complete with a flamboyant yet glamorous pair of grey diamante shades.
Eye Candy In Colourful Dress
Giovanna was photographed looking all sweet and sassy after the Margiela show for Paris Fashion Week. Her cut out dress featured a blue and white striped fabric which was covered in green, blue, yellow . She complemented her ensemble with blue embroidered ankle strap heels.
Azzadine Alaïa Dress
Known for her love of figure-hugging dresses, she teamed her Balenciaga jacket with a dress fabricated by Tunisian master in fashion, who recently passed away- Azzadine Alaïa.
